If I need
counseling what is the first thing I need to do?
Check with your insurance company to find out if
you have Mental Health coverage. Ask them if
they cover a Licensed Professional Counselor,
LPC. Ask if Branch Counseling is "In Network" or
"Out of Network". Find out how many sessions
you have available per year and how many you
have left for this year. When does your year
start? How much do they pay the therapist? What
is your deductible and copay. Payment is
usually different for In Network and Out of
Network providers. If we are covered and you
wish to see me, call Branch Counseling for an
appointment.

What do I need to
bring to the first session?
You need to bring
your insurance card if you have insurance. Fill
out the
Billing Intake Release,
and sign the
Professional Disclosure
Statement and bring to the first
session. This enables me to have the
information without you taking up session time
filling out paperwork.

reason, 24 hours before the session. If you
cancel within 24 hours you may be charged 100%
of the session fee. Insurances do not cover
missed sessions so it will be your
responsibility.
