The Love Revolution |
|
 “The
Love Revolution” - A 7-week bible study (for men and
women) will give you the opportunity to be part of a
worldwide community that believes
in the possibility of change through
the love of God! This is a different kind of bible
study that, in the end, will
revolutionize your walk with God, your ability to
be Christ-like and your reliance on the Holy Spirit’s
guidance through your life. The
Love Revolution begins Monday evening
March 22nd @ 6:30 PM, or Tuesday mornings March 23rd
at 9:30 AM. See Deb O’Berry or Sam Nesbitt for more

"Journeyman" Bible Study |
|
 The
NEW Journeymen Class - led by Russell Clark
is underway on Sundays @ 9:30 AM. This 20-week men’s bible study will dig
into God’s Word and deal with the issues of today from a
man’s perspective. We begin with an 8-week study of
Philippians looking at how we can have joy no matter the
situation in our lives. |

Compassion is a human emotion prompted by the pain of
others. More vigorous than
empathy, the feeling commonly gives rise to an active desire
to alleviate another’s suffering. Christ had
compassion for us and came to
earth as God incarnate to save us. As Christians, we should
demonstrate this compassion to
others.
One way we do this is collecting items for Crisis Care Kits.
We invite you to
contribute bottles of shampoo for the kits. We
need 100 bottles! It is extremely important that the
bottles are medium sized between
12-18 oz only. Larger bottles cannot be sent in the kits. In
this case, more is not better! There is a container
on the missions table in the foyer
for collecting the shampoo. |
