Building Fund Total for Dec. 2006 - $20,008.00
Pledge
cards are still available at the Welcome Center or in the
office for those of you who indicated you needed more time to
pray about your pledge. Just a reminder: pledges are what the
building team uses when planning and deciding the final
choices as implementation of the dream
begins. To date, we have received a total
of 101 pledges. Prayer has been such an important part of
our preparation, commitment, and planning; it is still a
vital link as we press forward.

Attention all parents of 4 year olds - 6th grade!!!
This
year in JOY University your children have been learning Bible
verses and applying them in their lives. Please help your
child by learning the verses together as a
family. Look up the verses in your Bible
together, and read the whole chapter to better understand the
context of the verse. Say them at dinner or in the car on the
way to practice, church or school. Help
your children understand the importance of
learning God's Word and speak with them about what
the Bible verse means to you.
For the month of January:
4 yr olds
- 1st grade are learning
Acts 16:31: They
replied,
"Believe
in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your
household."
2nd - 6th
graders learn two Bible
verses a month: Acts 4:32
"All
the
believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that
any of his
possessions was his own, but they shared everything they
had.
And, Acts 16:31
They replied, "Believe in
the Lord Jesus,
and you
will be saved - you and your household."
Look for
the Bible Verse Station in the foyer
each Wednesday from 6:00 - 6:30 pm
and bring the whole family
over to say the Bible verse.
Children earn JOY U money to purchase items at
the JOY U Store.

"Altitude" is a
student ministry program for all teens 7th - 12th
grade. Our mission is to build a large student
population of vibrant
Christ-following world changers through outreach,
fellowship, service, discipleship, & leadership
development.
February 11
Our youth will be leading the
service @ 10:40 am giving us a glimpse of
their worship service during "Altitude" on Sunday evenings. Teens
will lead us in worship, Pastor Mitch will preach, and the
MFCN Celebrate Life Choir will sing their
selection they performed at Celebrate
Life. It is a great opportunity to invite a teen to give them
a chance to see & hear what "Altitude" is all about.
