MASON FIRST TEEN QUIZ TEAM IS #1

The Mason First Church Teen Bible Quiz teams competed Saturday, January 13, 2007, in the Eastern Michigan Invitational quiz meet in Flint, Michigan.  There were 26 teams from all across the State of Michigan and the quiz questions included information from Acts Chapter 1 through 20. 

The Mason Varsity team of Aaron Miles, Jana Pierce, Trent Ernst and Craig Pierce took first place at this quizzing invitational, which included teams from the Northern Michigan and Eastern Michigan districts.  The Mason JV team of Kylie McCalla, Tori Stetler, Stuart Shattuck, and Sharidan Barth earned sixteenth place.  All members of the teams contributed points to the teams’ effort and success.

Individually, Jana Pierce earned first place at the tournament, and Aaron Miles sixth place.   Three quizzers, Kylie McCalla, Aaron Miles and Jana Pierce, had at least one perfect round, answering all questions correctly and earning bonus points for their team. 

Congratulations to the Mason Quiz Teams on their hard work and success!    They will continue to study the book of Acts through the March 17 District Final Quiz, held right here at Mason First Church of the Nazarene!
