QUIZ FEST AT OWOSSO
At the February 3, 2007 District
Quiz, in Owosso, the Junior Varsity Quiz team composed of Tori
Stetler and Sharidan Barth, along with two quizzers from Jackson,
earned a third place team trophy. In addition to this terrific
team performance, Tori Stetler earned 7th place
individually.
The Varsity Quiz Team earned
a fourth place team finish. Aaron Miles terrific quizzing won the
first place individual trophy. Jana Pierce contributed to the
team effort, and earned 7th place individually. The
other Varsity team members contributing to the team’s success are
Trent Ernst and Craig Pierce.
The Mason First Church of the
Nazarene Quiz teams will compete next on February 17, in Sterling,
Illinois, at a national invitational tournament.
